Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users regarding the use of the website for the AI agent Sody (sodyai.com, the “Site”) operated by Humelo Inc. (the “Company”), including the Browser Demo Calls, Phone Demos, and Sales Consultation Requests offered on the Site.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms have the following meanings.

  • “Demo Sign-up” means leaving a mobile number or email address on the Site and consenting to the collection and use of personal information in order to use a Browser Demo Call or Phone Demo.
  • “Browser Demo Call” means a demo in which a user talks with the AI agent using the browser’s microphone or by typing text.
  • “Phone Demo” means a demo in which a user, using their own mobile phone, either calls the demo number provided by the Company (Call Directly) or, after completing text-message verification, answers a call that the AI agent places to the user’s mobile phone (Get a Call).
  • “Sales Consultation Request” means leaving a mobile number and a company name (optional) in order to receive a consultation on adopting Sody.
  • “Console” means the member service (app.sodyai.com, console.humelo.com) in which Sody agents are actually built and operated.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of These Terms)

(1) The Company posts these Terms on the Site (sodyai.com/terms) and gives notice of these Terms on the Demo Sign-up screen. A user who signs up for a demo is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

(2) The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable laws. When amending them, the Company will post the effective date and the changes on the Site starting 7 days before the effective date, or starting 30 days before the effective date for changes that are unfavorable to users.

(3) Users who do not agree to the amended Terms may stop using the demos and making Sales Consultation Requests.

Article 4 (Relationship with Other Terms and Policies)

(1) The processing of personal information on the Site is governed by the Sody Privacy Policy.

(2) Console membership registration, accounts, fees and payment, refunds, and the operation of actual Sody agents are governed not by these Terms but by the Console Terms of Service and the Console Privacy Policy. If a separate contract has been entered into with the Company, that contract takes precedence.

(3) Fees shown on the Site (e.g., per-minute call rates) are for information only; actual fees and conditions are governed by the fees posted in the Console or by a separate contract.

Article 5 (Provision of Demos)

(1) Browser Demo Calls and Phone Demos are free demonstrations that the Company provides so that users can try Sody in advance. All order, reservation, and membership information used in the demos is fictitious data, and nothing said during a demo changes any actual order, payment, or reservation.

(2) To use a demo, a user must first complete a Demo Sign-up. The Company determines how long demos can be used per Demo Sign-up (currently 2 hours), and once that time has passed, the user must sign up again. However, the Company may also offer industry-specific demos that can be used without signing up.

(3) To share the demos fairly and prevent abuse, the Company may limit the length of each call, the number of exchanges, the number of uses per day, and the number of simultaneous calls. The current limits are as follows, and the Company may change them as circumstances require.

  • Browser Demo Call: up to 12 minutes per call, up to 30 exchanges, and a limit on the number of uses per day
  • Phone Demo: up to 3 minutes per call; from the same number, up to 5 calls per day for Call Directly and up to 3 calls per day for Get a Call. For Call Directly, only calls placed within the time shown on the screen after the demo number is provided are connected.
  • Demo Sign-up and text-message verification: limits on repeated requests from the same number, device, or connection environment

(4) Persons under the age of 14 may not make a Demo Sign-up or a Sales Consultation Request.

(5) When many users are connected at once or equipment is under maintenance, demos may fail to connect or users may have to wait.

Article 6 (Phone Demos)

(1) A Phone Demo may be requested only with a mobile number that the user personally uses. Users must not sign up with another person’s number or have another person answer the call.

(2) When a user requests Get a Call, the Company sends a text message with a verification code to that number to confirm that the number belongs to the user. A number that has been verified in the same browser does not need to be verified again for a set period (currently 24 hours).

(3) A Call Directly call is connected only if it is placed from the mobile number provided at Demo Sign-up.

(4) If the person who answers the call says they did not request it, the AI agent apologizes and ends the call.

(5) The agent in Browser Demo Calls and Phone Demos is generative AI, not a person. The Company indicates this on the Site and also announces it in the opening line of Browser Demo Calls and Call Directly calls.

Article 7 (User Obligations)

While using the Site and the demos, users must not engage in any of the following acts.

  • Signing up for a demo with another person’s mobile number or email address, or causing a demo call to be placed to another person
  • Directing abusive, sexually harassing, threatening, or other harassing language at the AI agent or Company employees, or using Browser Demo Calls for prank calls or spam
  • Signing up for demos or placing calls repeatedly using automated programs, or changing numbers, devices, or connection environments to evade usage limits
  • Placing an excessive load on the Site or the demo servers, or circumventing or breaking security measures (such as human verification and text-message verification)
  • Collecting answers or voice output obtained through Browser Demo Calls to train AI models, or using them to copy the service
  • Saying or entering real personal information of other people during a demo (fictitious data is sufficient for the demos)
  • Using the Site for purposes that violate laws or public order

Article 8 (Limitations of the Demos)

(1) Demo answers are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or out of context. Demo answers must not be taken as facts or as commitments by the Company.

(2) If speech recognition fails, the AI agent may mishear what is said or give irrelevant answers. When speech recognition is temporarily unavailable, users may be guided to continue the conversation by text.

(3) A call may end partway through if it reaches a time or count limit, if the AI agent ends the call, or if the connection is unstable.

(4) Because the demos run on demonstration settings and fictitious data, they may differ from an actual deployment in response content, speed, and integration scope. The actual scope and schedule of deployment are determined in the sales consultation.

(5) The Company may change the content, missions, voices, or usage limits of the demos, or discontinue the demos, without prior notice. Because the demos are free demonstrations, no compensation is provided for such changes or discontinuation.

Article 9 (Receiving Text Messages, Emails, and Other Notices)

(1) The Company sends the following notices requested by users regardless of whether they have consented to receive advertising information. These notices contain no advertising.

  • Text messages with verification codes for Get a Call
  • Notices confirming receipt of a Demo Sign-up and links to continue building on a PC (sent by email if only an email address was provided, and shown on the screen on a desktop)
  • A demo summary and information about sales consultations after a demo ends (if a mobile number was provided)
  • Text messages confirming receipt of a Sales Consultation Request

(2) Advertising information, such as announcements of new features, promotions, and discounts, and calls from Company representatives encouraging adoption are sent only to users who have separately consented to receive advertising information. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, and how to do so is described in the Privacy Policy.

(3) If a user provides an incorrect mobile number or email address and another person receives notices as a result, the Company will stop sending to that number or address once it becomes aware of this, and the user must correct the information.

Article 10 (Sales Consultation Requests)

(1) A Sales Consultation Request is a request for a consultation and does not by itself form a contract with the Company.

(2) Upon receiving a request, the Company contacts the user at the mobile number provided. Users who have completed a demo can link their demo records to the request without re-entering their number.

(3) The Sody service contract, fees, and service levels are set out in the Console Terms of Service or in a separate contract.

Article 11 (Intellectual Property Rights)

(1) The rights in the text, videos, images, voice samples, and trademarks (such as Sody and Humelo) on the Site, and in the voice output and answers produced by the AI agent during demos, belong to the Company or the legitimate rights holders.

(2) Users may use these only to the extent necessary for the demos and must not reproduce, distribute, broadcast, or sell them, or create derivative works from them, without the Company’s permission. However, uses permitted by law, such as quoting screens to introduce or review Sody, are allowed.

(3) The names and logos of other companies shown on the Site belong to their respective companies.

Article 12 (Usage Restrictions)

If a user violates Article 7 or abuses the demos, the Company may, without prior notice, restrict Demo Sign-ups and Phone Demos for the relevant number, email address, device, or connection environment.

Article 13 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)

The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Site or the demos due to equipment maintenance, failures, telecommunications line conditions, or business reasons. Where advance notice is possible, the Company will give notice on the Site.

Article 14 (Limitation of Liability)

(1) Because the demos are free demonstrations, the Company is not liable for damages arising from interruptions, errors, answer content, or call quality of the demos, unless caused by the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.

(2) Users are responsible for damages arising from their violation of these Terms or from their providing another person’s number.

(3) The Company is not liable for damages arising from causes it cannot prevent, such as natural disasters, failures of telecommunications carriers, or problems with users’ devices or network environments.

(4) Where applicable laws separately provide for the Company’s liability, those laws prevail over this Article.

Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

(1) These Terms and the use of the Site are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

(2) Disputes between the Company and users will be resolved by the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
